About

grüe·zi /ˈɡryːətsi/

A Swiss greeting
that means hello.

To us, it's more than a word. It's how we begin.

Two cups.
One way to begin.

Coffee

It grounds us.

Coffee anchors the body, connects us to place and purpose, and gives the morning its first shape. Small-batch, single-origin, roasted in Switzerland — never older than seven days when it leaves us.

Matcha

It uplifts us.

Matcha clears the mind, balances the energy, and sharpens the focus. Stone-milled in tiny batches at single-estate farms in Japan — vibrant in colour, mindful by design.

Together, they form our ritual — a daily moment of clarity, connection, and calm. From Switzerland to the world: this is how we begin.

Rox — founder of GRÜEZI, in Switzerland

From a morning hike in Andermatt to a brand built around hello.

GRÜEZI was born in Switzerland — among the Alps, the trails, and the quiet ritual of strangers acknowledging one another on a shared path. A single word that carries warmth and belonging before a single thing has been said.

Our founder Rox — a San Francisco native who made Switzerland her home — heard it first on a morning hike through Andermatt. She realised the word had always carried something worth building on: warmth between strangers, on a shared path.

What began as a small coffee truck grew into a full collection — specialty coffee, ceremonial matcha, ready-to-drink, and curated experiences. Each rooted in the same belief: GRÜEZI has always been about how we begin.

GRÜEZI ethos — Swiss in craft, international in spirit

Quality is a practice,
not a feature.

Everything we make, and every experience we host, is built around a single idea: the moments we share matter.

We are intentional by nature — Swiss in craft, international in spirit. Quality lives in the ingredients we choose, the details we obsess over, and the way we think about the person on the other end of everything. A drink. An event. A first impression. Each one is an opportunity to do something worth remembering.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. In everything.

Coffee, matcha,
and everything between.
